Great vid +Makeup Game On Point ! My tip would be to match foundation
along the jawline and not on the hand. The hand and face are two different
textures and skin colors when matching. That way the foundation matches the
    face and the neck. .

I am like the same complexion as you thank you for the advice .

Love this! I’m not a woman of colour but I’ve noticed that most tutorials
out there are aimed at pale-skinned girls, which is just weird. Also, I
agree – woc wear colourful eye shadows BEAUTIFULLY – especially jewel tones
    :P

  7. Liz Rochester says:

  9. Soribel Rodriguez says:

When shopping for colors for the eyes lips and checks we should consider
the depth and tone of the pigments in a shade. We can wear pinks, brights
and nudes but some brands make lighter shades with pale/white “base tones”
or frosty pearls that don’t translate on darker skin so make sure to look
for more richly colored pigments and shimmers

Soooo happy I found your channel. I stand corrected – I learned of your
channel! I’m a subscriber of themindcatcher, and she gave you a shout-out
on her latest “Tag Video”. While I’m not new to YouTube, I am new to the
Tutorial and HowTo’s portion of it. I learned how to put on makeup for
theater, but didn’t really learn the difference between being on stage and
in real life. Now, I’m at the age where a little makeup won’t hurt on an
everyday basis and I’m looking for channels to help with the application!
I’m also not a spring chicken, so I’m looking for channels that I can
relate to! Your channel will definitely be one of them! Thank you!!!

  15. Monique Hawkins says:

    colors

Awesome video. I’m going to have to try the blush stuff~
My favorite beauty tip would have to be to use orange concealer on dark
spots instead of a shade matching color.

  24. Mithila The Dancing Queen says:

I want to say before you go out with all the colours on your face first
experiment and see what looks good on you and if some colours doesn’t look
good try to avoid it but if you don’t want to then see if any other colour
    goes with that .
